We are a review and affiliate link site aimed at producers, artists and creatives. This means we get paid if you buy using some of our links. In return we promise to provide content and reviews. We look out for new releases and the best deals and only promote products we want ourselves or have experience with. We are gear heads after all!

No, but it's an important question. We earn when you buy and so it's of course good when you use our links, but our aim is to be as transparent as possible and provide well-researched valuable content and reviews. We feel that this is a win-win for those that get something from our reviews and the brands that we support. We would never write a review because we were asked or were offered something for free.
Good question. It's a play on the sound a camera makes when you take a photo. We are just a bunch of audio engineers, DIY'ers and videographers and so this is the area we know and work in. As time has gone on we focus on the audio side of things but the name stuck!
